The Fishtrap Children’s Literature Workshop September 2009
This is Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Wilderness just up the road from Coffin House in Enterprise where the workshop was held. It’s not a sinister as it sounds. The Coffin family home belonged to the longtime editor of the Enterprise newspaper and was donated to Fishtrap for hosting readings and workshops.

Rick is the Executive Director of Fishtrap. He kept the work shop running smoothly and organized my school visits on Friday. Meg was my teaching partner for the weekend and is the author of many amazing picture books.
